The statewide action week will take place this year from July 3 to 9, 2023. "Media literacy on the ground - here in Rhineland-Palatinate" is the motto under which all regions, cities, and municipalities are networked to make the diverse commitment to more media literacy visible. klicksafe is participating with various offerings.

Workshop on the Digital Detox Box on 03 July 2023, from 13:30 to 15:00 at Media:TOR Speyer. 

klicksafe offers a workshop as part of the "Week of Media Literacy", in which educational professionals get to know the klicksafe material "Digital Detox Box". In it you will find different methods around the topic of digital well-beingfor youth work in and out of school.

*BOOKED OUT* Digital Parents' Evening "#Fascination Internet - What Parents Should Know" on July 4, 2023, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., online.

In this digital parents' evening, parents will receive information on why the Internet is so fascinating for children and young people and where the greatest risks lie. We will also talk about class chats and WhatsApp groups. Where are the dangers in such groups? What alternatives are there? What parenting tips have proven effective? The parents' evening "#Fascination Internet - What Parents Should Know" is a joint campaign of the EU initiative klicksafe with the State Working Group for Family Education Centers RLP as part of the Rhineland-Palatinate Media Literacy Week.

Web seminar on "Influence of algorithms in the everyday life of children and young people" on 04 July 2023, from 16:00 to 17:30, online.

The klicksafe web seminar gives all interested parties an insight into the influence of algorithms in the digital everyday life of young people and how young users can be empowered in dealing with them.
