SWR and the initiative Kindermedienland Baden-Württemberg have launched an educational project that, for the first time, focuses on children's rights as they relate to the media. The brochure contains numerous tips on freely accessible teaching materials on children's media rights.

The brochure

The brochure "Media rights for children" explains the various rights in dealing with digital media in easy-to-understand terms and provides tips and advice on which good online services help children to recognize and control media-related risks themselves.

The service section also provides a sample declaration of consent, data protection information , and sample media usage contracts that help negotiate boundaries for the sensible use of modern media with children. Teachers and other interested parties will find up-to-date and clearly arranged information on how to deal wisely and competently with the opportunities and risks of digital media.
