New brochure "Growing up well with media" on the occasion of the Day of Children's Pages

Children like to be online. The brochure "Growing up well with media" explains what parents need to know so that they can act safely and age-appropriately there.

Focus of the new edition: "Digital Children's Room". Published by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ).v

Extras for kids: Creative cell phone and info laptop

The brochure contains two materials for children. Parents can give them directly to their child. The creative cell phone with seven cards teaches children the most important data protection rules. The colorful information laptop "Fit fürs Netz!" (Fit for the Net!) explains correct online behavior in child-friendly language.

Small puzzles and entertaining tasks encourage children to learn about safe behavior.  In the process, children also learn about exciting online offers.

For the whole family: password key stickers

Security starts with the password. Even adults often don't have secure passwords. Each brochure contains an individual sticker that can be stuck on a PC, smartphone or tablet. Using this combination of characters, everyone in the family can create their own secure password. Easy as pie and secret.

The brochure is available free of charge from the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ): www.bmfsfj.de/netz-fuer-kinder
