EDUCATIONAL MEDIA AWARD 2019

Apps, games and websites honored with media pedagogical seal

The reference "pedagogically valuable" is not always perceived as a sign of quality, but often has a stale aftertaste. However, the winners of the "Pedagogical Media Award 2019" prove that even challenging content can be designed in an appealing way. A total of 14 products received the #Medienpreis19, which is decided on by children, youth and adult juries alike.

On Oct. 29, 2019, the award ceremony took place at Munich's Gasteig Cultural Center, where the winning companies received their awards. Six offers each for children and young people were honored, and two special prizes were also awarded to offers that can be used in educational work. The "Pedagogical Media Award" has been presented since 1998 by the specialist media education institution "SIN - Studio im Netz".
