Smartphone and tablet safely in children's hands
Younger and younger children are using apps. But many of these apps contain advertising, in-app purchases and social media links, or share data - risks that children usually have difficulty assessing. To help parents and educators choose the right app, jugendschutz.net has created the handout "Smartphone und Tablet sicher in Kinderhand" (Smartphone and tablet safe in children's hands) as part of the project "Monitoringandevaluation of apps with an affinity tochildren withregard to youth, data and consumer protection risks as well as consumer information" .
It provides tips on how to quickly recognize good children's apps and how to handle mobile devices safely.
