Just in time for Safer Internet Day 2018, the project VALUES LIFE - ONLINE started with the launch of the website

The aim of the online project is to teach young people values for respectful coexistence online. The project work is based on the peer-to-peer principle. Young people are trained as scouts in media education workshops. In webinars (online-based lectures), they inform their peers about topics such as hate speech, (cyber)bullying and online privacy. In the process, the scouts teach ways to critically and confidently counter these negative phenomena in everyday online life. In the social networks, the scouts also call for more responsibility for one's own online behavior. In connection with the hashtag #wertelebenonline, they develop creative social media actions and motivate their peers to also stand up for more respect and compassion online.

WERTE LEBEN - ONLINE is a model project of JUUUPORT e.V. and is supported by the federal program "Demokratie leben! Aktiv gegen Rechtsextremismus, Gewalt und Menschenfeindlichkeit" by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. For more information, please visit .
