Social media, online games or Internet research for school - in 2021, young people will spend an average of 241 minutes a day online. In the process, they are increasingly confronted with problematic content. In connection with the Corona pandemic and the 2021 federal election, extreme political views, fake news and conspiracy theories, among other things, have come more into focus. In the JIM Study 2021, for example, young people stated that they had come into contact with more disinformation. It remains to be seen whether the results indicate a general increase in disinformation or that young people in 2021 are better able to recognize and classify fake news and extreme political views.

Here at klicksafe you can find information, materials & tips on how to deal with  conspiracy theories and disinformation.
