klicksafe is part of the Safer Internet Centre Germany network in the Digital Europe Program of the European Union. eco - Verband der Internetwirtschaft e.V.

The eco Complaints Office, the Cologne Police and the State Prevention Office against Violence and Cyber Violence in Schools in North Rhine-Westphalia are jointly organizing on 07.02. from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. an online workshop under the title: "Growing up and living well networked - stumbling blocks and training wheels in the digital space".

The workshop is aimed in particular at older young people, parents, teachers, educators and interested Internet users. The workshop will address the use and significance of digital media for children and young people, as well as the questions of when legal limits are reached and what limits parents and young users can sensibly set themselves. Registration is possible online until the start of the event.

FSM - Voluntary Self-Monitoring of Multimedia Service Providers e.V.

The FSM offers on 07.02 from 17:00 to 18:00 clock a virtual parents evening with the title "Online safety for children and young people through technical youth media protection". via the offer Elternguide.online. Here, parents can ask their questions live to media educators and receive valuable tips on the topic of technical youth media protection. Further information is available online.

In addition, there will be a specialist event where the results of the Youth Media Protection Index 2022 will be presented and discussed. For this year's Safer Internet Day, jugendschutz.net focuses on the topic of "dark patterns". These are manipulative mechanisms that are also used in free game apps ("Free2Play apps"), among other things. jugendschutz.net provides information on how these work and what potential dangers lurk for children. Nummer gegen Kummer e.V.

Nummer gegen Kummer actively supports Safer Internet Day on 07.02. via its social media channels and focuses on the topic #OnlineAmLimit. The association is also taking part in the online workshop of the eco complaints office where it will provide insights into its work as an established helpline and advice on "web worries".
