Conscious on the net - How do I use social media?

The event aims to promote conscious social media consumption. Students in the 8th grade are to reflect on their own consumption and learn about ways to use social media in a more targeted and conscious way. "What is good for me in social media?", "And how am I influenced by social media?" Are just some of the questions that will be asked during the workshop.

In the process, topics such as algorithms and social media as a source of information will also come up. The young people will address this variety of topics using a learning circle and thus be encouraged to reflect on their own media use.

The event will take place as a closed event at the Celtis-Gymnasium in Schweinfurt as part of the project "Fit für Schule & Beruf" of the Diakonisches Werk Schweinfurt e. V.. The project is sponsored by Aktion Mensch.
