Safer Internet Day with the online offer of Seitenstark

At Seitenstark.de, we offer a topic-relevant, open offer for children to inform themselves and to participate.
Three media literacy clips based around the character Charlie are available in English, Turkish and Arabic. The animated explanatory films on the topics of fake news, data protection and diversity of the children's website landscape last just a few minutes. In each case, they address the most important aspects of the clip topic and also provide a number of tips. Links lead everywhere to more in-depth content. This makes the videos a good introduction to the topic in question, both at school and at extracurricular venues or at home with the family.

Teaching units and workshop concepts for each video offer a media-pedagogical supplement. With their help, the topics of the Charlie film clips can be worked on and deepened. The learning units can be used in lessons for grades 4 to 6 or in extracurricular education and are free of charge.
