Under this title, we want to talk to you about the fact that we are handing over our privacy to these US Internet giants by using seemingly "free" Internet services such as Google, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and many more.

Together we want to talk on Safer Internet Day about-
where everywhere our personal data is at risk,
- what we personally can do about it,
- what measures we expect from the responsible politicians

This workshop can only serve as a first introduction to the topic and to become clear about the dangers we expose ourselves to by using such services. We will also talk about better alternatives without being able to analyze them in more detail at this workshop. But in follow-up events at our regularly scheduled Open Meetings this will be possible.
