We now encounter them everywhere and with increasing frequency: voice assistants, voice controls and smart speakers. No longer just on smartphones, but in speakers, in smart TVs, in cars, and with smart homes throughout our everyday lives.
For people with disabilities, voice assistants often replace eyes and hands at the same time. Through voice control, these people regain independence in everyday life. So they are very practical - but how do they actually work and what about data security?
Do they listen to us all the time or only on command? Are our requests stored, and if so, where? We want to enlighten you in this event and discuss with you where they are a curse or a blessing.
