Teachtoday - Know your limit

Teachtoday on site! Deutsche Telekom's media education initiative is holding two 90-minute workshops at Otto Nagel Gymnasium in Berlin as part of Safer Internet Day. Under the motto #OnlineAmLimit, children and young people are motivated to look at their individual media use.

The focus is on age-specific topics.
The students of a fifth grade class deal with the time factor in media use. They describe their own everyday media life and learn to question their individual use of digital media.
A ninth grade class deals with the communication culture in social media. Hate comments are presented and evaluated. The aim is for young people to address the issue of hate and hate speech on the Internet and to develop targeted strategies for action.
