Cybergrooming, sexual exploitation and pornography on the internet. How can we protect children and young people safely and provide them with support

Parents' evening (Online)

Children and young people are coming into contact with pornographic content on the internet at an increasingly early age. They experience their first confrontation unintentionally and involuntarily, often through chats or streaming portals. This situation can be unsettling and overwhelming. Young people search anonymously for information about sexuality and come across problematic content.
How does early exposure to pornography influence young people? How can parents and educators provide support? The Digital Family Talk at Safer Internet Day 2024 will explore these questions in order to find solutions.
