Digitalization has long been shaping our everyday lives and promises us new freedoms.
But what about self-determination when a few services set the rules for new ways of learning, working and communicating and new technologies also bring with them new potential for abuse that can lead to completely analog dangers?
On Safer Internet Day, the international day of action for more internet security, we invite you to follow your data trails in the Digital Self-Determination workshop with speaker Luise Görlach. She will show you everyday tips on behavior and digital service providers that will not only save you data, but also time and money.
In addition to practical and free tools for your digital office, you can also expect suggestions on how to protect your digital life from prying eyes and potential external attacks.
Digital self-defense also means implementing preventive measures against cyber criminals and avoiding potential stalking attempts. No IT knowledge is required for this - with just a few clicks, you can protect your own privacy.

For those interested, there will be a free consultation offer after the event, where specific privacy concerns or threat scenarios can be discussed anonymously and confidentially in a solution-oriented manner.

Please register for the workshop by 04.02.2024 to gs-digital(at)hs-emden-leer.de
Please register for a consultation directly with the speaker by 04.02.2023: digitalselbstbestimmt@posteo.de
