The Child Welfare Network Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis invites professionals (including school and extracurricular education, social work, child and youth welfare) to the network conference "Digital media in childhood and adolescence". In addition to opportunities for exchange, two presentations will focus on different aspects of media in childhood and adolescence.
Media educator Eva Borries will address the topic in her presentation "Attitude that opens doors. How we can support families in digital media worlds", she will focus on the life span from birth to late primary school age. She provides insights and assistance on how support in digital media worlds can be successful with clarity, knowledge and security, but above all with more ease.
Rebecca Michl-Krauß from klicksafe will focus on the digital environments of young people in her presentation "Online risks and how we can empower young people to deal with them". First, she gives an overview of how young people move around online. She will then look at some of the risks and challenges in the online world. In particular, it will look at the forms of sexual violence that young people are confronted with online and how educational professionals can empower young people to deal with it.
