The Youth Panel - working with young people

In January 2009, klicksafe set up a Youth-Panel - "Jugendbeirat"- at Carl-Bosch Secondary School in Ludwigshafen. In March 2012 the Medienscouts working group from Paul-von-Denis Secondary School in Schifferstadt joined the Youth Panel Team. Since 2015 the English Institute in Heidelberg and the Carl-Benz Secondary School in Ladenburg are part of the klicksafe Youth Panel. Being held every second month, this working group provides information on current internet topics young people may be dealing with. Here, young people are trend scouts and ambassadors of their own generation. The discussed topics are basis for peer to peer trainings that they hold in front of younger pupils in their schools.

Once a year all european youth panel representatives meet on a European level to discuss new topics. More informations on youth manifesto publication (pdf) or on Pan European Youth Website.
