Online course "Hate Speech - What to do?" goes into next round

On August 29, the new online course "Hate Speech - What to do?" will be launched as part of the EU-funded Facing Facts program.

Hate speech is a growing problem on the Internet and young users in particular are often confronted with it. But how can the phenomenon be countered? Answers are provided by the online course "Hate Speech - What to do?" which is suitable for both interested beginners and professionals with prior knowledge. The course offers basic knowledge and refers to further materials that can be used in (media) educational work. Strategies such as active counter-speech, monitoring or reporting options on various platforms are explained in an easy-to-understand manner.

The interactive learning opportunities are particularly helpful: In the discussion forum, questions can be discussed in the group, and participants receive support from tutors. In addition, guest lecturers regularly provide exciting insights into practical approaches in webinars. Participants have the opportunity to receive a certificate upon successful completion of the course.

The start date for the next course is August 29. How to register for the course is explained in this video. A direct link to the registration page can be found here.
