In times of crisis, disinformation spreads particularly quickly. Especially when uncertainty increases, the need for information also grow s, as in the pandemic or the current war in Ukraine. In such times, a particularly large amount of information circulates, including fake news and targeted disinformation.

In addition to textual information, images and videos can also be manipulated and shared worldwide via social media channels. The spread of targeted disinformation leads to uncertainty, intensifies conflicts and divides society.
