Simple: WhatsApp

Since 2015, the Federal Agency for Civic Education has been publishing guides in simple language around the topic of Internet use: simple language is intended for anyone who finds complicated texts too difficult for them. Therefore, the materials are not made for a specific target group, but for everyone who wants to actively participate in social life using the Internet.

The series of the publication is now supplemented by a new guide on WhatsApp. In it, the frequently used messenger WhatsApp is introduced. It then explains installation, first steps with the app, and basic functions and privacy settings step-by-step  using graphics and screenshots. The PDF file can be downloaded free of charge.
