European Cyber Security Action Month 2017
Under the auspices of the European IT security authority ENISA (European Union Agency for Network and Information Security), the member states of the European Union are offering various events and information during Action Month to raise awareness of cyber security among citizens, companies and organizations. So far, 372 actions have been registered in 28 countries.
In Germany, the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI for Citizens) coordinates and supports the action month. Under the motto "Into the Internet - with security!", the BSI wants to educate citizens about current cyber dangers. As the coordinator of the action month in Germany, the BSI has already been able to win over many organizations and institutions as partners. Over the next four weeks, they will all be addressing the topic of cyber security in webinars, video series or awareness campaigns. Participation in European Cyber Security Month (ECSM) is still possible. Information on how to participate in ECSM as well as an overview of all current campaigns in Germany can be found on the BSI campaign website.
