"BLEIB SAFE! 5 tips for AI in everyday school life" provides young people with information on how to use AI tools in a school context. It explains what they should consider when using ChatGPT & Co. for their tasks. In addition to a fact and source check of the generated content, the tips also include independent thinking and dealing with the AI output. The flyer also deals with the topics of copyright and data protection and shows students what they need to bear in mind in this regard. The final point is that everyone can benefit from the advantages of such AI tools as much as possible if they can understand how they work and where the associated limits and risks lie.
The flyer contains a poster on the back that summarizes the most important "dos" and "don'ts" in short form and can be hung up in the classroom, for example. Discuss the use of such AI tools in the classroom context with your students and agree on (further) common rules.
