The second "Media Literacy Week" starts today throughout Rhineland-Palatinate. Until July 11, there will be numerous activities in the large participatory project. klicksafe is participating with web seminars and an Actionbound.

The "Media Literacy Week" will take place throughout Rhineland-Palatinate from July 5 to 11, 2021. Education Minister Dr. Stefanie Hubig, Dr. Birgit Pikowsky, Director of the State Pedagogical Institute, and Dr. Marc Jan Eumann, Director of the Media Authority Rhineland-Palatinate, have called for numerous actions during the week.
In addition to the nationwide raffle action on the Actionbound "In the Bunker of Lies", klicksafe is running two web seminars on the topics of disinformation and opinion forming during the week of media literacy.

Young people learn to debunk conspiracy narratives and false news in the Actionbound game "In the Bunker of Lies" . Interested school classes and youth groups can now still play the special edition of the Actionbound game and enter the competition. To register, send an e-mail to faechner⁠⁠☞ Please insert an @ here ☜⁠⁠medienanstalt-rlp⁠⁠☞ Please insert a dot here ☜⁠⁠de. Please include the name and location of your school/institution and the participating group . The three best groups* will be rewarded with a grant for the class/group treasury (1st place: 10 euros per young person*, 2nd and 3rd place: 5 euros each per young person*). Participation in the competition is voluntary, legal recourse is excluded.

klicksafe web seminars

The two klicksafe web seminars are aimed at pedagogical professionals in school and out-of-school education as well as interested adults. Registration is still possible via the Media Literacy Week website . All further information can also be found under our dates.
