A fast Internet connection is becoming increasingly important. In numerous regions in Rhineland-Palatinate, fiber-optic connections are currently being planned, installed and in some cases heavily advertised. Many households therefore ask at the consumer advice centers whether a fiber optic connection makes sense for them and what to look out for when signing a contract and during expansion.

In the web seminar "Why a fiber-optic connection makes sense," Michael Gundall, a telecommunications expert at the consumer advice center, answers questions about expansion and connection. Among other things, he will discuss whether you can continue to use your own router or whether you should purchase a new fiber-optic router.

The web seminar will take place on February 7 at 3:30 p.m. and last about 75 minutes. Participation is free of charge. Those interested can register using the link provided (link leaves VZ page). Please note that only one registration is possible per person and e-mail address and the personalized link you receive cannot be shared with others.

A computer/laptop with internet access and a speaker are required to participate in the web seminar. Headphones are ideal. Please use Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome as your browser. More information and the link to the web seminar room will be sent after registration.
