Cell phone terror!New klicksafe teaching material on the ZDFtivi format "Young Crime

What are typical juvenile offenses and how are they tried in court? What are the stories behind the crimes? How do the victims fare? And how do young people themselves discuss and judge them?

The ZDFtivi format "Young Crime" explores these questions. In each of the 25-minute episodes, a true case is presented. In most cases, a German juvenile court has ruled on the matter. Theft, property damage, assault, coercion, blackmail - "Young Crime" focuses on offenses that are primarily committed by young people. The fictionalized cases are discussed in the studio under the moderation of Chinedu Melcher with three young people aged between 13 and 17 in each case. They bring different opinions and experiences to the topic. In the course of the discussion, the participants receive more and more information about what happened, evaluate the acts, empathize with the victims and finally come to their own judgment. A juvenile judge provides the necessary legal classification and supports the discussion group in their own "judgment".

klicksafe developed the new teaching material for the episode "Handy-Terror" in cooperation with ZDF.
