Talking about young people and pornography usually has two objectives: To protect adolescents from negative effects and to strengthen skills so that young people can deal with online content in a self-determined and responsible manner. This also includes dealing with pornography. Media psychologist and scientist Nicola Döring has developed the educational approach of so-called "pornography literacy" as genre-specific media literacy. Madita Oeming explains what this is all about and how young people can be sensitized to pornography.
